I do not know when it started, but I became fascinated with the rhythm of raindrops pelting on the zinc roof, as if in a playful manner. The rainwater collects in the grooves of the roof and drops on the ground, creating ripples in a puddle of water. The waves of ripples, melody, rhythm and reflections in the water, is music to my ears. I was inspired to capture the sounds and the sights of raindrops and ripples in this series of works, and it has brought me much joy while working on it.
