I have always been mesmerised by ancient Chinese bronze works. This series of works is my interpretation of the mystery and regality found in the ancient bronze works, by recreating the visual texture of bronze works with clay. My intention is to present the long-forgotten nobleness of these bronze artifacts in my works, in an attempt to revive days of its former glory.

 

我总沉迷在年代遥远的青铜。在神秘、古朴、厚重、典雅交织的绿锈色中，我企图以形象的概念，把材质从“青铜”移植到“陶土”，留住已被遗忘的技艺，让它从新发出昔日的光辉。
